Women's Wellness Retreat FAQ’s
Have questions? Whether you're wondering what to expect, who our retreats are for, or how to prepare, we've answered our most frequently asked questions here.
-
Our fall retreat takes place in beautiful Glen Rose, Texas, about 90 minutes southwest of Dallas-Fort Worth. It's close enough for an easy weekend getaway while still feeling like you've truly stepped away from everyday life.
-
Every retreat is thoughtfully designed to help you slow down, reconnect, and return home feeling restored. While each retreat is unique, your weekend may include:
Therapist-led workshops
Nervous system regulation practices
Gentle movement
Meaningful connection
Time to rest and recharge
Nourishing meals
Thoughtfully curated experiences
Plenty of unstructured time to simply be
There's no pressure to perform or keep up—just space to breathe.
-
If you've been feeling burned out, overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or like you're constantly taking care of everyone else, you're exactly who we had in mind when we created these retreats.
Many of our guests arrive feeling like they've been running on empty for months. They leave feeling rested, grounded, and more connected to themselves—with practical tools they can continue using long after the weekend ends.
You don't need to be in crisis to deserve rest.
-
Unlike many retreats, ours are thoughtfully designed and facilitated by a licensed mental health professional.
We combine evidence-informed wellness practices, nervous system support, meaningful connection, and intentional rest in a supportive, non-clinical environment. Our goal isn't to keep you busy every minute of the weekend—it's to create space for you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself.
-
Not at all.
Everything is an invitation, never an obligation. If your nervous system is telling you to rest, take a walk, journal, or simply enjoy a quiet moment, we encourage you to listen to what you need.
-
Absolutely—and many of our guests do.
Whether you arrive alone or with a friend, you'll be welcomed into a warm, supportive community. Many women leave with meaningful new friendships and connections.
-
We offer both private and shared accommodations.
Private king rooms are available for guests who prefer their own space, while shared accommodations are reserved for guests who choose to room with someone they already know.
-
Each retreat includes accommodations, meals, workshops, wellness experiences, and thoughtfully curated activities designed to help you rest, reconnect, and recharge.
Specific inclusions may vary by retreat, so we encourage you to review the details on each retreat page.
-
Not at all.
Whether this is your first retreat or your tenth, you'll be welcomed exactly as you are. No prior experience is necessary—just a willingness to slow down and care for yourself.
-
No.
While our retreats are designed by licensed mental health professionals and incorporate evidence-informed wellness practices, they are not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health treatment.
Think of our retreats as an opportunity to pause, reconnect, and learn practical tools that support your overall well-being.
-
A spa weekend can help you relax for a day or two.
Our retreats are intentionally designed to help you reconnect with yourself through meaningful experiences, guided reflection, education, and genuine connection with other women. The goal isn't simply to escape—it's to leave feeling more grounded, restored, and equipped to carry that feeling home.
